  2) McMahon line

  3) Palk Strait

1) Radcliffe line:-

The Radcliffe Line was drawn between India and Pakistan on 17 August 1947. This line runs from Gujarat to Tibet. This line was decided by the Indian Boundary Committee under the chairmanship of Sir Cyril Radcliffe. There is a 3,310 km border between India and Pakistan, and the Rod Clip Line is 2,910 km long.

* After India gained independence, the border was divided between the Muslim-majority part as Pakistan and the Hindu-majority part as India. After the independence of India in 1947, King Hari sing ruled Kashmir. This king wanted to be independent without belonging to any country. But the Pakistani tribal's were ready to conquer Kashmir. On that occasion Hari sing agreed to join India seeking India's help. On this occasion, an agreement was reached between Governor General Mountbatten of the Government of India & King Hari sing of Kashmir.

* Hari sing signed the "Instrument of Accession" on 26 October 1947. Through this, the Jammu and Kashmir region became a single territory of India. It came into force on 27 October 1947. Every year October 26 is celebrated as "Accession Day". A war broke out between India and Pakistan in 1947 over Kashmir. The war ended after the World Organization intervened. But the part of Kashmir occupied by Pakistan remains as Pakistan occupied territory. This part is called POK Pakistan occupied Kashmir and  Azad Kashmir. The Battle Blue Line is today's Line of Control. This line is due to the conflict between the two countries and it is called Line of Fire instead of Line of Control. The reason is the frequent conflicts between the two nations.

He served as Foreign Secretary for British India under Henry MacMahon. He was instrumental in determining the boundary between India and China. Hence the name MacMahon was given to this boundary. China has occupied the Aksai Chin region near Jammu and Kashmir. The Indo-China war started in 1962 when China also occupied a small part of Arunachal Pradesh and the Aksai Chin area of Kashmir. Recently, China occupied this border line near Doklam in Arunachal Pradesh and tried to occupy the territory there.

"Adam's Bridge" (Ramasethu) is being constructed between Pak Strait and Gulf of Mannar to connect Danushkoti in Tamil Nadu to Talaimannar in Sri Lanka. This will promote the connectivity between India and Sri Lanka. Recently the Government of India has taken up a plan to connect the Indian Ocean with the Bay of Bengal through the Setu Samudram project.
