            Indian National Congress Party  in 1885 Sir A. Founded by O. Hume, Umesh Chandra Banerjee presided over the first session of the Indian National Congress held in Mumbai in 1885. The National Congress, which was at the forefront of the national movement, took the form of a political party after independence.

INC Formation (Congress Formation):

                The All India Congress Committee is the supreme committee of the Congress Party. Its president occupies the top position in the party structure. The members of the All India Congress Committee and the Regional Congress Committees elect the Party President for a term of 3 years. There are also directives where the president is elected by nomination without election, including the acting president and vice president appointed by the party president.


Executive Committee:

                              Today's working committee occupies an important place in the structure of the Congress, known as the High Command. The Executive Committee consists of 21 members including the Chairman. Among them, the following are selected by the All India Congress Committee, while others are appointed by the President. The Congress Parliamentary Board acts as the Vice President of the Executive Committee.

The Central Election Committee is another important organ of the party. It consists of members elected by the All India Congress Committee and appointed by the party president.

7) Achieving economic development through planning.

8) Renewal of co-operative movement.

9) Emancipation of women.

10) Elimination of violence and radicalism.

11) Protection of religious and linguistic minorities.

12) To provide social justice to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Castes and Other Backward Classes.
