Uses of Mica:

1) Its physico-chemical heat property is very useful. It is used in electrical field as (Dielectric strength, Dielectric constant) as it has unique property of stability and heat resistance, electrical resistance. That is why it is in high demand.

2) Used in making instruments in scientific experiment schools.

3) Used in making jewelery and beauty enhancers.

4) It is used in the manufacture of lamp chimneys due to its heat resistant properties. Recently in America (Teh USA) Telestar transmitter is also used in satellite manufacturing.

5) It is also used in the manufacture of telephone, telegraph, paint, plastic, synthetic rubber, nail oil, varnish, etc.

6) It is used as capacitors in radio.

7) A thin sheet of mica is used to detect the passing ultrasound in a Grigermuller counter tube.
8) Scientific materials and spare parts of transport vehicles are manufactured and used.
9) Powdered and dried mica is used in the manufacture of plastic materials and hard rubbers and in the manufacture of roofing materials.
10) Its powder is used in wall, paper and paint making to give shine.

11) Used in the manufacture of dynamos, condensers, lamp holders and stoves.

12) It is also used in the preparation of some medicines.

13) Mica is currently used in the ignition system of rockets, missiles and jet engines.
